Team infermieristico molto simpatico. Il nuovo amministratore e il DON conoscono tutti i residenti e il personale. I residenti sono molto contenti della loro casa.

Ho appena notato che hanno cambiato il nome da boschi di Andorra, al crinale di Whitemarsh. Probabilmente hanno dovuto farlo a causa di tutta la cattiva pubblicità che portavano i boschi di Andorra. Quindi non lasciatevi ingannare da queste persone. A loro non importa dei tuoi cari. Recentemente un ex dipendente mi ha anche saputo che ero trattenuto nei boschi di Andorra in modo che potessero trattenere il mio assegno di previdenza sociale. Perché io prendo il doppio e in alcuni casi il triplo, ma gli altri residenti lo fanno. Sono stato residente qui per otto mesi ed è stato un incubo, a partire dal mio primo giorno. Il mio primo giorno il personale ha agito in modo da non preoccuparsi del mio dolore e dei miei farmaci, ed è stato un peso per trasformarmi. Sono tetraplegico e sono totalmente dipendente, quindi naturalmente ho bisogno di cose. Ogni volta suonavo il campanello. Sarei stato accolto con il forte S!! Era come se fare il proprio lavoro fosse una seccatura. Ero sul materasso sbagliato per la prima notte e la CNA si è rifiutata di girarmi, perché nelle sue parole, incazzata perché sono da sola. Ho spiegato alla donna che non era colpa mia perché mi stava afferrando con forza per girarmi. La mattina dopo ho chiesto un clistere alle 7:00, l'ho ricevuto alle 10:30 ed è stato il responsabile dell'unità con cui ho parlato e gliel'ho chiesto. Ora è andata. Ho provato a lasciare la casa di cura, ma alla fine sono dovuto tornare perché la mia unica altra opzione era la casa di cura di Filadelfia e a quanto pare è l'inferno sulla terra. Al mio ritorno ho avuto un materasso ad aria e la cura è stata significativamente migliore, per circa due settimane. Il problema con Andorra è che non riescono a mantenere buoni dipendenti. I cattivi restano per sempre. Ogni CNA. Mi sembra che l'incontro fosse appena iniziato. Ci sono stati momenti in cui un'infermiera lavorava per l'intera unità e aveva più di 30 residenti, quindi se sei come me e hai orari specifici per le cure mediche, puoi semplicemente buttarlo fuori dalla finestra. E quando ti lamenti con i cosiddetti supervisori, puoi aspettarti che non venga fatto nulla. Per fortuna, sapevo di andare direttamente dall'amministratore stesso e dal direttore dell'infermiere quando avevo un problema. E ho avuto molti problemi. Dall'essere sgridato dal personale, 45 minuti di attesa per rispondere a un campanello, proprietà personali rotte o perse, essere abbinati a un compagno di stanza mentalmente instabile e medicine che non sarebbero costantemente disponibili. Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo mentito fin dall'inizio. Ci è stato detto che la struttura poteva gestire un paziente con una lesione al midollo spinale, come me. La maggior parte delle volte mi è stato detto che ero troppo medicato e non ero nel dolore che ero in realtà. Tieni presente che provengo da uno dei migliori ospedali di fisioterapia del paese, che mi ha prescritto tutti i farmaci. Anche i pasti sono appena commestibili e non aspettarti di aiutarti a trovare una struttura migliore. Si occupano di riempire i letti e prendere assegni e basta. Non sarai altro che un numero quando verrai ad Andorra Woods. O come ama chiamarlo il loro personale, Andorra Hood. Molti dei CNA provengono dall'Africa e c'è anche una barriera linguistica ben definita. Per favore, non sottoporre i tuoi cari all'incubo che ho attraversato. Ho dovuto essere ricoverato cinque volte mentre ero lì. Ho avuto infezioni delle vie urinarie, polmonite e mersa mentre ero lì. Sono fortunato a non aver contratto la tubercolosi mentre ero lì. C'è sicuramente qualcosa nell'aria ad Andorra. Oh, e ho dimenticato di menzionare gli insetti, in particolare scarafaggi e ragni. Penso che lo copra, spero che tu ottenga l'immagine. Non credere al clamore, a meno che tu non creda che un principe nigeriano condividerà la sua ricchezza con te se solo tu Western Union lui soldi. Questa è solo la mia opinione, niente di più.

Andorra Woods ha un team premuroso di infermieri che si prendono davvero cura di mio padre. L'edificio è di recente ristrutturazione (alcune parti ancora in costruzione) e presenta un ambiente caldo e confortevole. Mi piace che sia vicino a casa mia, così posso visitare mio padre, ma so che è in buone mani quando non posso stare con lui.
