Sarebbe facile semplicemente andarsene e non scrivere una recensione. Credo che lo usino a loro vantaggio. Ma ciò che accade a porte chiuse deve essere segnalato. Il cibo è terribile e non ci sono attività. Il personale è abbastanza dignitoso ma sono oberati di lavoro e sottopagati. Nel breve periodo di tempo in cui ho risieduto lì, sono passati attraverso quattro direttori, 4 o 5 direttori di attività, 3 addetti alla manutenzione e molti molti badanti. L'amministrazione è dietro a tutto questo e voglio che sia perfettamente chiaro che non è il personale. Il personale fa quello che può con risorse limitate e, peggio ancora, non è apprezzato per tutto ciò che fa. Affermano di avere assistenza infermieristica 24 ore su 24, 7 giorni su 7. In realtà NON c'è INFERMIERA nei locali dalle ore 21:00. e 7:00 a.m. L'infermiera è solo "di guardia" tra quelle ore. C'è anche un solo CNA nello staff tra le 23:00. e alle 7:00 Non esagero quando dico che l'80% delle volte le luci si spengono alle 21:00. e il CNA si addormenta e non risponde alla luce della chiamata. Infine, puoi passare settimane a chiedere di vedere un medico o uno psichiatra prima di vederne finalmente uno. Corri, non camminare, il più lontano possibile da questa struttura. Non credere all'amministrazione. Mentono per nascondere un'altra bugia. I residenti che possono esprimere le loro preoccupazioni se ne vanno. Si parla poco perché quelli di noi che se ne sono andati sono solo grati di essere usciti.

Così grato per Harbour House. Mia madre ha la demenza e ha ricevuto cure eccellenti negli ultimi 5 anni. Caloroso, abile nel lavorare con i sintomi della demenza e flessibile è il modo in cui descriverei la squadra. Abbiamo ricercato le migliori strutture di assistenza nella zona e posso dire con certezza che Harbour House è il migliore. Offro questo feedback avendo precedentemente curato mio padre per oltre un decennio che soffriva anche di demenza e ora mia madre. La mia prospettiva è anche influenzata dalla mia formazione / esperienza professionale come assistente sociale clinico autorizzato con oltre 22 anni di esperienza come terapista e amministratore nel campo della salute mentale. La nostra famiglia Vorrei esprimere la nostra gratitudine per la grande cura che l'Harbour House ha riservato al mio amorevole marito e padre. Non è stato molto piacevole prendersi cura di lui a causa della sua malattia (Alzheimer ad esordio precoce), ma gli infermieri ei membri del personale sanno esattamente come lavorare con lui in modo che si senta ascoltato e amato. Non posso esprimere quanto sono profondamente grato a tutti i membri della Harbour House. I membri del personale non sono solo dipendenti, fanno parte di una famiglia amorevole. Sono laboriosi, gentili, premurosi, affidabili e compassionevoli. La struttura è sempre pulita e ben tenuta. La mia più sincera gratitudine a tutti all'Harbour House. GRAZIE!!!
