Ho avuto un problema con il mio Robinson R66 durante un viaggio dalla Florida a Boulder, in Colorado. Era un indicatore RPM del rotore che era irregolare e ci è voluto un po 'per diagnosticare finalmente che era l'indicatore che richiedeva la sostituzione. Inizialmente Robinson voleva che gli mandassimo l'indicatore per la riparazione mentre aspettavamo a terra, questo per un R66 che è sotto nuova garanzia. Ha quindi richiesto l'aiuto del rivenditore per convincere Robinson a rispondere a una situazione AOG, è stata una sfida. La mia esperienza con Century Helicopter non avrebbe potuto essere migliore, sono stati cortesi, altamente competenti e molto dettagliati nella loro diagnosi. Di menzione è stato Mike, il loro direttore generale e Phillip, il loro capo AI. Nel complesso è stata un'esperienza positiva in una situazione stressante. Mi sentivo come se fossi un vecchio cliente che stavano aiutando piuttosto che un visitatore pop-up che non avevano mai visto prima. Li userò sicuramente in futuro quando si presenterà la necessità.
