Abbiamo avuto un'esperienza TERRIBILE al West Shore Laylum. Fraser Health ha portato mio padre in questa struttura di assistenza a marzo 2016. West Shore Laylum ha perso i nuovi apparecchi acustici di mio padre, 2 paia di occhiali da vista, portafoglio in pelle, cintura, scarpe, cappello, camicie e una serie di altri effetti personali. La direzione ha mostrato una completa mancanza di empatia e interesse quando abbiamo segnalato la mancanza di questi elementi. ATTENZIONE: non c'è assolutamente alcuna responsabilità per i beni dei residenti vulnerabili. Non aspettarti scuse neanche quando le cose "scompaiono misteriosamente". WEST SHORE LAYLUM NON SI INTERESSA. Evita questa struttura a tutti i costi.

L'edificio potrebbe essere molto vecchio ma il personale merita 5/5. Persone assolutamente incredibilmente gentili che lavorano lì.

Mio padre ha trascorso solo 9 mesi a West Shore Laylum. È un vecchio edificio fatiscente e affollato. Durante la sua permanenza, abbiamo riscontrato che le sue condizioni fisiche generali erano davvero peggiorate. A noi sembrava troppo medicato, camminava a malapena, non era più in grado di nutrirsi. Dopo essersi trasferito in un'altra struttura di cura a Vancouver, le sue condizioni fisiche e la sua energia sono immediatamente migliorate. Camminava ed era in grado di nutrirsi. Abbiamo anche scoperto che durante la permanenza a West Shore Laylum, molti degli effetti personali di mio padre sono misteriosamente scomparsi. Numerose telefonate ed e-mail riguardanti gli oggetti mancanti sono state inutili. Il personale e la direzione di West Shore Laylum hanno mostrato una reale mancanza di cura. Come famiglia non abbiamo sentito altro che scuse dalla direzione. Mai scuse! Gli anziani in cura meritano di meglio.

Westshore Laylum può essere vecchio, ma è di gran lunga la migliore casa di cura nella terraferma inferiore. Entrambi i nostri genitori hanno avuto la fortuna di trascorrere i loro ultimi anni in questa struttura molto premurosa. Il personale è incredibilmente gentile e mette davvero le preoccupazioni dei pazienti in cima alla loro lista. Il cibo, le attività e l'atmosfera rendono un luogo caldo e accogliente da chiamare casa. Grazie a tutto lo staff per aver reso gli ultimi anni di mamma e papà così piacevoli.

Sono stato qui diverse volte per visitare gli amici. È un edificio molto vecchio e affollato. I residenti sono parcheggiati in uno stretto atrio nelle loro sedie a rotelle uno di fronte all'altro, seduti lì in attesa di morire. È orribile.
