Mio figlio ha frequentato la scuola materna a Walsingham. Quell'anno frequentavo la scuola di specializzazione e abbiamo ricevuto una generosa quantità di aiuti finanziari. Mio figlio amava i suoi insegnanti e compagni di classe. Nella primavera del suo anno di scuola materna, abbiamo chiesto nuovamente un aiuto finanziario (per l'anno successivo) e abbiamo ricevuto circa il 5% dell'importo che avevamo ricevuto in precedenza. Ero ancora alla scuola di specializzazione, il che rendeva finanziariamente impossibile per mio figlio frequentare l'anno successivo. È stato difficile ottenere una risposta chiara sul motivo per cui si è verificata una diminuzione così drastica dell'importo ricevuto. Il sentimento generale era, peccato, troppo triste. La mancanza di spiegazioni è stata deludente per diversi motivi, soprattutto perché sentivamo di essere diventati parte della famiglia Walsingham. Inoltre, sembrava incoerente con la fede cattolica che una scuola trattasse le sue famiglie a basso reddito come disponibili.

La mia raccomandazione è di considerare di lasciare che i tuoi figli frequentino questa scuola solo se la tua famiglia non ha bisogno di aiuti finanziari. Se hai bisogno di aiuti finanziari, come abbiamo fatto noi, potresti trovarti con aiuti sufficienti per permetterti un anno e poi non abbastanza per farli tornare l'anno successivo. Probabilmente potremmo permetterci di mandare lì i nostri figli ora, ma abbiamo imparato la lezione.

Scuola eccellente e bellissima. Non ho partecipato ma conosco molte persone che lo hanno fatto.
