La mia chirurgia ricostruttiva TRAM Flap è stata una farsa completa dopo che questo dottore mi ha usato come cavia a luglio come collega di plastica appena addestrato al MD Anderson. Non ero un candidato e ho subito 8 riparazioni di ernia e ora ho delle ancore che tengono insieme il mio addome. I luoghi sono ancora erniati. Che casino.

Avevo visto 7 medici per un consulto. Ho deciso di provare l'UCI Cosmetic Clinic e ho visto il dottor Barton. Non posso che elogiare quanto sia stata meravigliosa lei e anche Esther (il loro direttore dell'ufficio) e il dottor Tang. Erano tutti ben informati, compassionevoli e semplicemente fantastici. La dottoressa Barton mi ha ascoltato prima su quello che volevo fare e poi ha spiegato quanto il mio corpo poteva effettivamente sopportare data la mia età, il peso, ecc. Ha spiegato quale sarebbe stato il suo piano e ha anche discusso alcune opzioni che dipendono da come le cose apparivano durante chirurgia. Si è presa il tempo per spiegare pro e contro e sapevo di aver trovato il mio medico. Mi sentivo come se potessi fidarmi di lei per fare il miglior lavoro possibile nel modo più sicuro possibile. Quando ho incontrato il dottor Tang erano sulla stessa pagina e sono andato in chirurgia sapendo di essere nelle migliori mani.
Ho adorato il loro lavoro. Sono 3 giorni dopo l'intervento e il seguito da loro è stato incredibile! Li consiglierei a chiunque desideri sottoporsi a un intervento di chirurgia plastica e che ha bisogno di fidarsi che il proprio medico metterà la salute del proprio paziente prima di eseguire più procedure. Sono uscito di casa alle 5:00 per assicurarmi di essere puntuale per l'appuntamento delle 9:00 perché vivo a più di 2 ore di distanza. Pensavo che essere puntuali sarebbe stato rispettoso del tempo dei medici. Sono stato seduto nella stanza degli esami per un'ora con la porta chiusa, WTH !! Penso che abbiano preso il ragazzo che era in ritardo di un'ora prima di me o forse questo ufficio è sempre in ritardo e gli appuntamenti non significano molto! Così frustrante! Se non vivessi così lontano me ne andrei! Finora non sono felice
