Dopo aver presentato un appello per il biglietto, ho risposto 5 volte (dicendo che ero alle Hawaii alle XX date per incontrarmi in tribunale). Ci sono voluti più di 3 mesi per ricevere una lettera con una proposta di data del tribunale, a quel punto ero già andato. Vivo in Canada, quindi non avrei potuto tornare a HI per il tribunale.
La risposta è stata "puoi assumere un avvocato per rappresentare il tuo caso". Ovviamente non è ragionevole visto che costerebbe più del biglietto.
Inoltre, la multa per eccesso di velocità era per il superamento di un'auto su una corsia di sorpasso legale quando era sicuro farlo. Devi quasi sempre accelerare per passare per farlo rapidamente e non mettere in pericolo le auto in arrivo. Questo era nel mio caso d'appello ...

Puoi sentirlo nella sua voce, deve essere davvero difficile non dare un consiglio legale, mentre risponde a tutte le domande che sembrano tutte al limite. Molto ben informato. Grazie a tutti voi per il lavoro che fate tutti.

Quell'ufficiale sa già che se sei di fuori città o militare, il giudice ti farà pagare il biglietto. Queste ridicole leggi sul traffico. Non controllano nemmeno la tua licenza ai punti di controllo e ti fanno domande e ti puntano una torcia in faccia. Spreco di denaro delle tasse e queste violazioni sono pura rapina.
