Essendo nel settore da oltre 30 anni, sento di avere un po 'd'occhio per le produzioni ben realizzate. Chad e l'equipaggio di StoneKap hanno una miscela unica di talenti da mettere in campo. La mia esperienza è limitata alla loro eccellente serie Flite Test sul web, ma con oltre 300 episodi online ora, non sono solo un lampo nella società di produzione pan. I valori di produzione per questa serie sono molto alti, anche con la maggior parte dei contenuti ripresi a mano libera, (ok DSLR con montaggio a spalla), è una ripresa pulita che non è sempre facile da fare a distanza ravvicinata su contenuti che non sono strettamente sceneggiati, e ha un sacco di dettagli e scatti spaccati.
L'audio è sempre ben registrato, o se ha problemi sono abbastanza bravi a ripulirlo. Le voci sono chiare e nitide, e ho visto pochi o nessun punto in cui devo riavvolgere, anche quando si riprende con il vento riuscivano a malapena a volare.
Per il look dello spettacolo, girano una varietà di interni, esterni con vento e neve, e raramente vedo uno scatto che non sia all'altezza. Sono sbalordito dall'ingegnosità del loro setup, e anche se non spendono un sacco di soldi per le attrezzature di produzione, ciò non significa in alcun modo che i loro spettacoli abbiano un budget basso nell'aspetto o nell'atmosfera. Se puoi costruire un pannello luminoso a LED con anima in schiuma e strisce LED, perché dovresti lasciarne cadere uno dai pannelli luminosi?
Il montaggio, è molto pulito, "nessun effetto per il bene degli effetti", o salviette di pecora che cadono ... la continuità è molto solida, non ti chiedi mai come sei arrivato a questa scena o passo, è sempre un viaggio lineare molto bello dall'apertura teaser alla chiusura degli outtakes. Devo ammettere di aver aggiunto un paio di tecniche e trucchi o due guardando lo spettacolo con un occhio al "perché quella scena è così facile da capire, quando nessun altro spettacolo può spiegarla o illustrarla senza fare un pasticcio".
StoneKap utilizza una grafica ben progettata e non abusata, e questo mantiene lo spettatore concentrato sul messaggio e non sulla grafica. Branding and Look for Flite Test è pulito e coerente e si è evoluto dai primi episodi al suo attuale livello elevato.
Tutto sommato, consiglierei StoneKap a chiunque necessiti di una piccola troupe di produzione strettamente integrata per portare il tuo messaggio all'obiettivo rapidamente e rispettando il budget, mantenendo un occhio serio sul mantenimento di una qualità di produzione di alto livello.

Sì, sono un fan del loro spettacolo, ma uno dei motivi principali per cui lo sono, è che è così ben prodotto ed è una gioia da guardare. È diventata una delle poche cose che non vedo l'ora di vedere ogni settimana. Se fosse solo un altro spettacolo "Ho un Go Pro e un iPhone e sono un produttore" dubito che durerebbe una mezza dozzina di episodi. La qualità rende gli spettacoli guardabili e rivedibili.
