TradottoL'SKHV gestisce un'impressionante flotta di velivoli storici. Questo è possibile solo grazie alla motivazione dei meccanici aeronautici del nostro Ufficio Tecnico, dei nostri piloti esperti (tutti volontari) e di una passione senza fine per garantire la nostra storia dell'aviazione, in particolare la storia del RNLAF. Pertanto la flotta è composta principalmente da velivoli che precedentemente volavano con l'RNLAF o RNL Navy Air Services. Una bella eccezione a questo è lo Stinson L5B del defunto HRH Prince Bernhard che non era solo un caloroso sostenitore dell'aviazione militare olandese, ma anche dell'SKHV. La Royal Netherlands Air Force Historic Flight Foundation si trova nella parte meridionale della base aerea di Gilze-Rijen e può essere raggiunta attraverso il cancello principale o il cancello di Bavel. Si ricorda che per avere accesso alla base aerea è necessaria una notifica preventiva tramite SKHV. La SKHV dispone di vari hangar ed edifici, recentemente ristrutturati, coibentati e dotati di riscaldamento, la maggior parte dei quali si trovano intorno alle piattaforme, alla sala equipaggio e alla torre di controllo del traffico aereo. Oltre a una serie di hangar per l'alloggio della flotta storica, la SKHV dispone di un hangar per la manutenzione professionalmente attrezzato, edifici in cui i componenti degli aeromobili sono conservati in deposito di conservazione e spazi in cui le sostanze industriali sono stoccate in modo responsabile e in conformità con le normative legali. Parte della collezione storica è esposta nel museo SKHV. La sala equipaggio è il luogo di incontro per tutti i partecipanti SKHV, ed è arredata per l'accoglienza degli ospiti che vogliono vivere una giornata di aviazione storica. Uno degli hangar SKHV è allestito in modo multifunzionale, il che lo rende adatto non solo all'alloggio di aeromobili, ma consente anche di trasformarsi, in un batter d'occhio, in uno spazio di buon gusto per un congresso o una presentazione aziendale, tra le altre cose. In combinazione con un tour del museo, una vista della nostra flotta e un volo su uno dei nostri aerei storici, l'SKHV può quindi organizzare un evento aziendale unico. Molte aziende leader, come Philips Consumer Electronics, BMW, KLM, DSM, diversi istituti bancari e compagnie di assicurazione di azioni hanno potuto combinare in questo modo l'utile al dilettevole.
