I dottori qui sono bravissimi in quello che fanno. Estremamente professionale, superbamente informato e con un modo compassionevole accanto al letto. Sono stato un paziente qui e ora sono in ottime mani.

Non posso parlare degli altri dottori, ma il dottor West è stato orribile. Ho preso accordi speciali per lasciare il lavoro in anticipo e sono arrivato in tempo, con tutti i documenti compilati. Sono rimasto in attesa per quasi un'ora mentre lui passeggiava chiacchierando con il personale alla reception. Ho saputo da dove veniva sua moglie, da dove uno dei membri dello staff è andato di recente in vacanza e così via. Inoltre, la sala d'attesa era molto calda. Considerando la specialità della clinica, penseresti che sarebbero sensibili alla temperatura. Alla fine, quando mi misero nella stanza degli esami, il dottor West entrò, parlando per un miglio al minuto, dicendomi che aveva un altro paziente in attesa. Potrei dire che non aveva letto nessuna delle informazioni che avevo messo sul foglio di 9 pagine di informazioni per il paziente, perché mi ha chiesto di nuovo tutto e non ha mai ascoltato veramente. Non tornerò mai più!

I dottori sono fantastici, ma la clinica per le infusioni peggiora sempre di più. Le infermiere si lamentano costantemente, sia dei loro pazienti esigenti che delle loro vite. Entrare per un'infusione interrompe le loro conversazioni e sono infastiditi. Sono facilmente sopraffatti dai lati invisibili della SM: emotivo, confuso o lento.

Fondamentalmente è come farsi curare in qualsiasi altro ospedale in cui sei un fastidio per la loro giornata. Una volta trattavano davvero tutta la tua SM ed erano comprensivi e rispettosi di te come essere umano, ma non è più così.
