Il sermone è stato fantastico e il sacerdote che presiede è stato bravo.

Ogni domenica c'è una funzione per i brasiliani e tutta la lingua portoghese a partire dalle 19:00 con l'apostolo Paulo Sergio e Bispa Marineide, un luogo semplice e accogliente. Tutti sono i benvenuti.

Questa è una bellissima chiesa e ha il pastore più adorabile, Jonathan Mead.

Sono venuto in precedenza in questa chiesa tre anni fa, venerdì 18 agosto 2017, per il servizio funebre di mia suocera e sono tornato martedì 26 gennaio 2021 per il servizio funebre di mio suocero durante la pandemia di Coronavirus.

In quell'occasione, nell'agosto 2017, la chiesa era gremita e affollata da diverse centinaia di persone in lutto e simpatizzanti che riempivano ogni stanza e spazio disponibile della chiesa, e la sala sul retro e ancora con molti rimasti fuori incapaci di entrare.

Ora, avanti veloce fino a gennaio 2021, e il mondo è stato attanagliato da una pandemia mortale chiamata Coronavirus quasi un anno prima che ha ucciso milioni di persone in tutto il mondo, incluso mio suocero di 93 anni, che ha anche contratto il virus Covid-19 e morì il 1 gennaio 2021, per le conseguenti complicazioni. Quindi, per questo funerale nel 2021, sono state introdotte dal governo nuove linee guida, per cercare di frenare la diffusione del Coronavirus, e questo limita i partecipanti ai funerali a un massimo di sole 30 persone.

Ritornerò sicuramente di nuovo in questa chiesa, non appena sarà sicuro farlo come un modo per ringraziarli per la loro umanità durante i nostri periodi di dolore.
