Le persone qui sono molto gentili. Tuttavia, in questa zona ci sono troppi centri di cura del seno molto apprezzati per sopportare questo tipo di assistenza medica. Dopo una mammografia sospetta, è stata eseguita un'ecografia. Questo è tornato "normale" e mi è stato detto di tornare in un anno. Sette mesi dopo ho un cancro al seno in stadio 4. Considerando la lunghezza del tempo, i miei professionisti medici mi hanno detto che probabilmente avevo questo al momento della mammografia. Grave incompetenza da parte del radiologo e / o del tecnico che ha eseguito l'ecografia. Peccato per i dottori che non hanno dato ulteriore seguito dopo una lettura sospetta e una lettura chiara. Ricorrono allo "standard di cura" poiché il 90% dei casi non ha bisogno di ulteriori follow-up. Molto triste per il restante 10% di noi che lo fa. Da quel momento, sono stato "processato" attraverso il sistema con poco o nessun riguardo per il mio caso personale. L'unica cosa buona è che ho trovato un oncologo straordinario. Ho molta paura di fare affidamento su Park Nicollet per eseguire test di follow-up nel tentativo di rilevare se / quando il cancro si ripresenta.

29 giugno 2020. Anche se c'è uno scudo in Plexi al banco del check-in, l'addetto alla reception ovviamente non voleva indossare una maschera per la prevenzione covida. La maschera non copriva il naso e le labbra erano visibili mentre la persona parlava ai pazienti prima, incluso me. L'addetto alla reception a un certo punto è andato a parlare con il supervisore e ha tirato su la sua maschera mentre se ne andava, quindi ovviamente conosce il modo corretto di indossare la sua maschera quando parla con i supervisori e sarebbe bello se i pazienti fossero trattati con lo stesso livello di sicurezza e considerazione.
