Nuestros pequeños hermanos™ è un'organizzazione senza scopo di lucro che ha lavorato instancabilmente per dare potere ai bambini vulnerabili e costruire comunità resilienti. L'organizzazione è stata fondata nel 1954 da padre William Wasson, ispirato dalla difficile situazione dei bambini orfani e abbandonati in Messico. Abbiamo personale altamente qualificato che lavora 24 ore su 24 per garantire che ogni bambino riceva un'attenzione personalizzata in base alle sue esigenze uniche.
Oltre alle case residenziali per bambini vulnerabili, gestiamo anche programmi di sensibilizzazione della comunità volti a sostenere le famiglie che vivono in aree colpite dalla povertà. Attraverso questi programmi, offriamo opportunità educative sia per i genitori/tutori che per i bambini. Forniamo anche assistenza medica attraverso cliniche mobili che visitano aree remote con accesso limitato alle strutture sanitarie.
A NPH, crediamo che l'istruzione sia la chiave per rompere i cicli di povertà, quindi offriamo un'istruzione di qualità dalla scuola primaria fino al livello universitario. Le nostre scuole sono dotate di strutture moderne tra cui biblioteche, laboratori informatici e laboratori scientifici, tra gli altri.
Comprendiamo quanto sia importante che i giovani che escono da sistemi di assistenza come il nostro abbiano bisogno di un supporto continuo anche dopo aver lasciato le nostre case. Ecco perché abbiamo sviluppato programmi di transizione volti ad aiutarli a diventare adulti autosufficienti in grado di condurre una vita di successo.
