Mia figlia è stata qui per 2 anni e originariamente l'abbiamo collocata qui perché l'organizzazione afferma di essere cristiana, ma l'unica cosa cristiana che ho visto c'erano i versetti biblici settimanali che i bambini avrebbero dovuto imparare.
Mio figlio ha lottato per imparare le mosse di base e rimanere concentrato, e dove mi aspettavo che l'istruttore avrebbe impiegato del tempo per concentrarsi e imparare le mosse, ho notato sempre di più che veniva superata. Agli studenti che stavano già avendo successo è stata data ancora più attenzione e tempo perché, francamente, questo studio sembra più preoccupato per vincere, non per costruire carattere, abilità o lavoro di squadra.
Mio figlio doveva esibirsi entro poche settimane e poi COVID ha colpito, chiudendo la struttura che era stata affittata. Si potrebbe pensare che avremmo ottenuto un rimborso per questo, ma invece Nu Revolution ha recuperato le loro perdite accettando quei rimborsi per chiunque non avesse ancora pagato la retta mensile; attenzione, non avevano lezioni interne quel mese, ma avevano offerto una piccola manciata di lezioni di Zoom a cui mio figlio non aveva nemmeno partecipato.
Per uno spettacolo abbiamo dovuto pagare per costumi di danza personalizzati, che avrebbero dovuto corrispondere alle misure che avevano preso in anticipo. Quasi nessuno dei costumi si adattava a nessuno dei ballerini e la proprietaria le aveva consigliato una sarta che aveva usato personalmente per anni, ha detto. Poiché la performance sarebbe stata presto disponibile, ha fortemente "suggerito" di pagare la tariffa urgente aggiuntiva per ridimensionarli. Non sono mai state date scuse o rimborsi, al contrario. C'erano molte mamme da ballo che semplicemente non avevano i soldi per un sarto, per costumi che avrebbero dovuto già adattarsi perfettamente, ed erano molto stressate.
Più volte, abbiamo cercato di risolvere questi problemi, ma il proprietario / istruttore principale ha affermato di non aver ricevuto alcuna corrispondenza da noi, anche se più post erano stati cancellati dalla loro pagina Facebook e nessuna delle mie e-mail ha ricevuto risposta. Inoltre, nonostante fornissimo loro ripetutamente i nostri indirizzi e-mail, non abbiamo ricevuto le e-mail informative da loro fino a quando un'altra mamma ballerina non ha iniziato a inoltrarcele.
Per tutto il tempo in cui l'abbiamo portata lì, ci siamo sentiti indesiderati, estranei e come se nostra figlia fosse solo uno stipendio per loro. Ci sono altri studi di danza a Richmond, a un prezzo abbordabile. Una rapida ricerca su Google può farti risparmiare denaro e farti venire il mal di testa.
