Ho un piede rotto, e così sono andato da Rexall a Oak Ridges per comprare uno stivale più arioso. Lo Sprint Air Boot del LandMark Medical System è stato l'unico aircast che hanno venduto, quindi l'abbiamo comprato. Era uno stivale corto di taglia grande. Dopo meno di una settimana, la pompa si è rotta e l'"airbag" nel bagagliaio è esploso. Non è stato nemmeno come se l'avessi pompato troppo, dato che l'ho indossato al mattino e l'ho pompato una volta. Sono tornato a Rexall e avevano solo uno stivale lungo e grande. Ho dovuto affrontare il problema per circa 6 giorni, il che non sembra così grave, ma è stato terribile. L'airbag degli stivali perdeva, i cappucci della pompa dell'aria cadevano costantemente e dovevo andare a cercarli (anche lo stivale corto lo faceva) ed era solo un pasticcio caldo e pruriginoso. Il velcro ha iniziato a cadere e ho finito per inviare un'e-mail a LandMark. Devo dire che sono rimasto colpito dall'ottimo servizio clienti. Hanno mandato un nuovo stivale corto e arioso in grande al Rexall a Oak Ridges, e ce l'ho da qualche giorno. È così che ho passato un totale di 3 stivali aircast in meno di 2 settimane. Alla fine, continuerei a scegliere questo stivale, anche con tutta questa seccatura. Ho guardato altri stivali disponibili dopo il secondo avvio, e la maggior parte di loro usa una pompa a mano che non è attaccata allo stivale, il che è una seccatura ancora più grande, specialmente se la perdi.
