I nostri servizi
Offriamo diversi servizi durante la settimana che soddisfano le diverse esigenze. La domenica abbiamo due servizi: uno la mattina alle 9:00 e l'altro la sera alle 18:00. Questi servizi includono cantare inni insieme e ascoltare i sermoni del nostro pastore o degli oratori ospiti.
Il mercoledì alle 19:00 abbiamo lezioni di studio biblico in cui i membri possono riunirsi per imparare di più sulle Scritture, costruendo anche relazioni reciproche.
Oltre a questi servizi regolari, organizziamo anche eventi speciali durante tutto l'anno come la scuola biblica per le vacanze per bambini durante le vacanze estive o eventi a tema festivo come la caccia alle uova di Pasqua o i canti natalizi.
Le nostre convinzioni
Come parte della denominazione della Chiesa di Cristo, le nostre convinzioni sono radicate negli insegnamenti basati sulle Scritture che enfatizzano la salvezza solo attraverso Gesù Cristo. Crediamo che il battesimo per immersione sia necessario per la salvezza (Atti 2:38) e che la comunione dovrebbe essere presa ogni domenica (1 Corinzi 11:23-26).
Crediamo anche nel vivere la nostra fede attraverso il servizio agli altri. Ciò include il volontariato all'interno della nostra comunità aiutando coloro che sono meno fortunati o partecipando a viaggi di missione all'estero.
La nostra comunità di sensibilizzazione
Alla Johnson Street Church of Christ ci sforziamo non solo di servire i nostri membri, ma anche di avere un impatto positivo sulla comunità che ci circonda. Abbiamo diversi programmi di sensibilizzazione che mirano ad aiutare i bisognosi, tra cui una dispensa alimentare e una raccolta di vestiti.
Collaboriamo anche con organizzazioni locali come Habitat for Humanity e Salvation Army per fornire assistenza dove è più necessaria. Il nostro obiettivo è essere un faro di speranza e amore nella nostra comunità, mostrando agli altri la stessa grazia e compassione che abbiamo ricevuto da Dio.
