Ho avuto un'esperienza molto positiva con questa azienda all'inizio del 2015 quando ho svolto un lavoro di trasferimento video. L'atteggiamento è stato cordiale e professionale e il lavoro svolto è stato a prezzi ragionevoli e perfettamente svolto.
Quando mi sono avvicinato alla stessa azienda all'inizio del 2016 ho notato che i manager erano cambiati.
Ho chiesto alla struttura di correggere il colore di un singolo video clip che dura circa tre secondi per fornire un'impostazione generica per ciò che avevo girato per un'intera scena.
Il lavoro che volevo fare avrebbe richiesto circa 15 minuti e gli è stata concessa più di una settimana per farlo, il che significa che avrebbe potuto essere svolto durante i tempi di inattività o programmato con altri piccoli lavori a loro piacimento. Sono stato nettamente contraddetto circa la quantità di tempo che questo lavoro richiederebbe alla direzione, anche se ho visto questo lavoro svolto un certo numero di volte.
L'impressione che ho ora dell'azienda è che ai manager sia stato detto di addebitare il prezzo intero per tutto il lavoro, anche se ciò significa che il cliente pagherebbe una tariffa elevata per il tempo non utilizzato. Questa è una politica molto avida e datata quando avrebbero potuto effettivamente implementare una logica e trattenere anche un cliente raro come me. Ho detto loro che c'erano altri lavori che volevo portare loro in un secondo momento. Il risultato è stato che ho detto loro che avrei portato il lavoro futuro altrove e la mia impressione duratura è stata che fossero più interessati a far pagare il più possibile, piuttosto che essere interessati all'abilità coinvolta. Ho provato a discutere di questo problema con il manager, ma la sua risposta a ciò che avevo da dire e la critica che ho fatto è stata di dire in modo passivo-aggressivo che gli dispiaceva, non poteva nemmeno essere disturbato ad affrontare ciò che io aveva detto.
Sono abbastanza felice di pagare un prezzo equo per un buon lavoro, contrattare molto raramente, ma mi risento di essere trattato come un idiota da un vestito affarista come questo. I gestori non hanno detto nulla su una tariffa minima di un'ora quando ho prenotato il lavoro, il che significa due viaggi di andata e ritorno di 20 miglia, per consegnare e ritirare i miei media.
È stata una totale perdita di tempo e un'esperienza che ha fatto aumentare la credulità. Il mio consiglio sarebbe di portare il tuo lavoro da qualche altra parte in un'azienda meno avida che merita il lavoro e non tratta il cliente come una specie di vacca da soldi.
