Mi scuso per lo sfogo, ma devo spargere la voce nella speranza che altre famiglie con bambini con bisogni speciali possano FARE ATTENZIONE a questa agenzia!
Buckingham Community Services, Inc. del Connecticut a Newington, CT ha ottenuto finanziamenti statali dallo Stato del Connecticut per "fornire sviluppo professionale personalizzato e supporto in loco progettato per assicurare il successo in contesti lavorativi competitivi del settore privato". Invece, hanno maltrattato mio figlio. Non hanno alcun rispetto per i loro clienti. Molti dei loro clienti provengono da case famiglia e non hanno nessuno da difendere per loro conto. Hanno un aspetto professionale eppure sono completamente NON PROFESSIONALI e decisamente cattivi con i loro clienti. Questi clienti sono individui che non hanno voce poiché, molte volte, non riconoscono nemmeno di meritare un trattamento migliore.
Ho parlato con il DIRETTORE DELLE OPERAZIONI Donald R. Barnes e lui ha insistito continuamente sul fatto che mio figlio era "BENE" nonostante i miei sforzi per renderlo consapevole che NON era così. MAI UNA VOLTA ha tentato di fornire un suggerimento PROFESSIONALE per riunirsi per una possibile risoluzione del problema. È consapevole che uno dei membri del suo staff ha BULLISMO mio figlio con sindrome di Down e ha scelto di ignorare il problema quando l'ho portato alla sua attenzione. La sua risposta è stata semplicemente per dirmi che dovevo tenere mia figlia a casa o portarla in un'altra agenzia.
Ho una registrazione in cui il secondo in comando (SUPERVISORE REGIONALE DEL NORD Melissa Ming) ammette di sapere che mio figlio è stato BULLIATO da uno dei membri dello staff e tuttavia ha scelto di ignorarlo. Sono lì per trarre vantaggio dai finanziamenti statali e tuttavia vogliono sedersi nei loro uffici e raccogliere i loro stipendi mentre i loro clienti sono trattati in modo SCARSO e NON PROFESSIONALE dal loro personale.
