Ho fatto una procedura per la quale ho chiamato prima della procedura e ho chiesto quale sarebbe stato il compenso Mi è stato quotato lo stesso prezzo di quello che il mio chirurgo mi ha citato. Il giorno dell'intervento ho pagato in anticipo il costo dell'Anethesia per il quale ho ricevuto una ricevuta. Un mese dopo ho ricevuto un saldo dovuto di $ 3750 per una procedura inferiore a 2 ore. Sono stato citato $ 1000 e pagato $ 1000. Come mi mandi una fattura per $ 2750 in più? Quale codice di fatturazione è stato inserito per addebitarmi così tanto? Ho subito altri 3 importanti interventi chirurgici nei principali ospedali e non ho mai pagato neanche lontanamente così tanto.

Mia moglie ha fatto la sua procedura una volta nell'ottobre 2020 e l'anestesista era bravo. Tuttavia, Compass Anesthesia Services Group ha presentato 2 reclami duplicati con 2 diverse date di servizi alla sua assicurazione nonostante il fatto che la procedura sia stata eseguita solo una volta in 1 giorno. Come paziente, è difficile capire il reclamo, ma dobbiamo dedicare il nostro tempo a cancellare l'altro reclamo duplicato per l'importo e la procedura identici. Dovresti sapere meglio come fare il tuo lavoro, giusto?

Ho subito un intervento al ginocchio ad agosto. L'anestesista è stato fantastico. Ho alcune limitazioni a causa di una bacchetta nella colonna vertebrale e di una MOLTO bassa tolleranza ai farmaci e all'anestesia e lei è stata molto attenta alle mie esigenze e mi sono svegliata da un intervento chirurgico senza sentirmi annebbiata per una settimana come è successo in passato .. , cercare di ottenere i documenti necessari dal loro ufficio di fatturazione è stato completamente e assolutamente frustrante. Ho chiamato e lasciato messaggi ripetuti letteralmente a ogni interno nelle ultime 6 settimane e ad oggi ho trovato il loro sito Web e cercherò di contattarli in questo modo. Sono passati 2 mesi interi. Ottenere una ricevuta SEMPLICE con i codici CPT non dovrebbe richiedere così tanto tempo. Non è che abbiamo una scelta quando abbiamo un intervento chirurgico su chi sarà il gruppo per fornire questi servizi, ma forse se sai in anticipo che sarà difficile puoi pianificare in anticipo. EDIT: È interessante notare che poco dopo aver pubblicato questo ho ricevuto una telefonata di ritorno e la persona più dolce (Danielle) ha confermato le mie informazioni e ha inviato i documenti necessari entro 2 minuti. Tutto e 'bene quel che finisce bene.
