Ricordo che ero seduto in macchina a leggere queste recensioni negative su The Center for Community Solutions appena prima del mio primo giorno di terapia. Un po 'preoccupato, sono entrato comunque ed è stata senza dubbio LA cosa MIGLIORE che abbia mai fatto per me e per i miei cari.
A quel punto ero in California da 2 anni. Ho lasciato l'Oregon dopo che il mio ex è stato finalmente condannato per DV. Mi ha ripetutamente picchiato fino a farmi perdere i sensi, soffocato e torturato psicologicamente. Pensavo fosse finita dopo che me ne sono andato, ma i miei ricordi mi hanno profondamente disturbato. Il trauma si accumula nel corpo e io attaccherei brutalmente le persone o comincerei a singhiozzare per qualcosa di semplice. Adesso stavo ferendo le persone. Non riuscivo a controllare le mie emozioni. Avevo così tanto dolore. Stava prendendo il sopravvento sulla mia vita e non sapevo come migliorare.
Ho persino ferito il mio attuale partner che mi tratta come una regina perché non potevo sopportare lo stress senza esplodere. Alla fine ho contattato il numero verde per la violenza domestica e mi hanno indirizzato a CFCS.
E questo mi ha portato a Heather, la mia terapista negli ultimi 6 mesi che mi ha aiutato a cambiare completamente la mia vita. Quando sono arrivato da lei, mi odiavo così tanto.
Ho un background nei servizi alla persona e sono molto critico nei confronti di coloro che svolgono la professione di aiuto. Posso dire se stanno ascoltando. Avevo provato un altro terapista e ho avuto un attacco di panico dopo il primo giorno perché i suoi contributi non erano rilevanti e mi sentivo esposto a qualcuno che non mi capiva.
Heather ha un modo di prendere tutti i miei pensieri oscuri disordinati e in qualche modo sintetizza una risposta che è così utile ... come come !? A volte devi solo toglierti quella schifezza dalla testa. In 6 mesi di lavoro con Heather I; ho imparato concetti per gestire la mia mente come quando mi vergogno a spirale, ho esplorato il mio trauma in uno spazio sicuro finalmente senza sentirmi giudicato, ho posto limiti al bere che effettivamente funzionava, ho preso il mio corso finale per laurearmi, ho preso un personal trainer, ho trovato un nuovo lavoro il mio campo desiderato e nel complesso sono solo una persona diversa. Mi sono calmato così tanto. Ci vuole vera abilità per prendere un'anima tormentata e portarla in sollievo, ed è esattamente quello che ha fatto Heather.
I servizi di salute mentale accessibili di QUALITÀ gratuiti per i sopravvissuti sono imperativi e sono molto grato a Heather e al Centro per le soluzioni della comunità. Oggi è la mia ultima sessione e sono triste perché amo venire qui, ma so di dover fare spazio alle persone che ne hanno bisogno come ho fatto io.

Ottimo servizio e aiuto. Ho mai provato, Yashia e Kate erano con me in ogni fase del percorso. Mi ha sollevato quando mi sentivo molto giù. Non ci sono parole che potrei dire o esprimere come sono molto riconoscente per tutto il supporto che CCS ha fornito a me ea mio figlio. Ringrazio tutti voi per tutto. Come una donna con un bambino. Posso raccomandare con orgoglio i tuoi servizi ad altre donne con uno o più bambini. CCS ti aiuterà, ti terrà per mano e sarai lì per essere la persona straordinaria che sei. Se hai bisogno di qualcuno con cui parlare, assistenza medica, persino un riparo. Saranno lieti di fornirti le informazioni ei servizi di cui hai bisogno. Tutti meritano di essere felici.
