Mio figlio di 16 anni ha frequentato il programma ambulatoriale intensivo per 12 settimane. Durante le ultime 3 settimane ha ricominciato a risultare positivo e il programma e i capigruppo hanno trascurato di farlo sapere a me oa mio marito (nonostante frequentassi ogni gruppo familiare e mio figlio firmasse un comunicato). Dopo aver chiamato per verificare un orario di lezione, il consulente di mio figlio mi ha detto che non poteva aiutarlo e mi ha indirizzato a un altro programma. Si sono scusati per non avermi informato della sua ricaduta, e questa è l'unica cosa carina che posso dire sul programma.

Il programma PHP e IOP era utile e ciò di cui avevo bisogno in quel momento, ma sentivo che la maggior parte dell'empatia, della motivazione e del supporto provenivano dai membri del gruppo più che dallo staff. Il personale non è una persona cattiva, penso che si preoccupi delle persone a un certo livello ma sfortunatamente facendo una professione ogni giorno perdono quel tocco genuino. Non puoi aspettarti che si prendano davvero cura di te a scapito delle loro regole e dei loro regolamenti. Sembra solo un'estensione del mondo aziendale nell'arena della salute mentale. Sono grato per le mie esperienze qui, ma lo devo più a me stesso e alle persone straordinarie che ho incontrato più che allo staff.
