Skillpics is a professional social network where users create online profiles with a thirty second about me video, work experience and education. Within their profile users create individual ePortfolio albums that showcase the skill or experience they have. Each ePortoflio album is searchable on its own, primarily through a geo-search done by another user. The best ePortfolio results are shown, just like a google algorithm, and people can sift through discover mode to see who they would like to connect with. SKILLPICS creates competition for exposure among users through paid features, such as boosting and their featured section. Skillpics also allows users to post any kind of job opportunity and users can target themselves to specific search criteria. Skillpics is able to pull data from user content, searches, clicks, shares – any form of activity, and draw correlations and analytics for third parties.
