Very unfriendly
Monday March 4, 2024 I had a scheduled appointment to go in to and go over purchase options and to look at vehicles on their lot.
When I arrived at Rocky Mountain Motor Cars / Fast Start Auto a sales person sitting at his desk behind his screens greeted me, then told me to come into his office.
During the initial finance visit Stephen seemed to be very bothered with the fact that I had an appointment that was after business hours.
He grabbed keys for a 2015 Kia Sportage for us to look at. I backed the vehicle out of the parking space so we could further inspect the vehicle. My fiancé was asking Stephen common generalized questions.
My fiancé asked Stephen if he had the maintenance records for the vehicle. Stephen responded that they do not obtain service records on vehicles in their inventory.
At this time Stephen seemed to start getting more frustrated and aggravated to the fact simple normal questions that are asked by millions of different people.
My fiancé asked if the car had a clean title, Stephen insisted they only buy clean title vehicles. My fiancé followed with asking Stephen on why they do not provide or obtain maintenance records for their vehicles.
Stephen got extremely angry, yelling at my fiancé stating “we are a in house financing dealership that will actually look at people when their credit is trash”. Stephen then looked at me and stated “ good luck, every other place you go will turn their head and not help someone like you. I was cutting you a deal I could make you put $1,600 down.”
This is not how you treat people. Just because people with a low credit score doesn’t mean anyone has the right to make others feel less than. I am a human just like Stephen is.
If I could give Rocky Mountain Motor Cars / Fast Start Auto a zero I would. I will not do business with this company ever.
