Terrible staff and service

The funeral service we are using suggested we use this florist. As it was near by we decided to pop in. My brother had past away the previous day and my sister-in-law and I were both exhausted and grief stricken. We were greeted by two completely disinterested women who treated us as an annoyance. Perhaps because it was the day before good friend and they just wanted to start their long weekend. We asked if we could see some examples of various arrangements that might work for us and they said the didn’t have any. They showed zero empathy and barely made eye contact. We were expected to know flowers by name. We felt so stressed and flustered so went ahead and ordered some flowers both for the chapel and the house. We came away feeling upset and even more stressed. Surely it is their job to make things simple for their customers. To show kindness to those who are clearly struggling. With it being Easter they said they wouldn’t deliver the flowers til Tuesday. That is when I will call them to cancel our order.
