The Museo Nacional de Artes Visuales is a fantastic place to spend an afternoon. The collections are extensive and diverse, showcasing the very best of Uruguayan art. I especially enjoyed the exhibition on contemporary sculpture, which was thought-provoking and visually stunning. The museum is well-maintained and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend a visit to this cultural gem.
