I recently had the opportunity to volunteer at a Special Olympics Oregon (SOOR) event, and it was truly inspiring. The organization's commitment to empowering athletes with intellectual disabilities is evident in everything they do. The energy and enthusiasm displayed by the athletes, as well as the support from the staff and volunteers, create a positive and inclusive atmosphere. Special Olympics Oregon provides a platform for these athletes to showcase their abilities and be celebrated for their accomplishments. It was an honor to be a part of such a wonderful event.
